Empower Individuals, Support Families & Build Community
What began in 2010 as a small group of parents meeting in parks, homes, and local businesses quickly grew into a community of connection and support. From PLAY! at the library to a preschool co-op, Girl Scout troops, summer learning programs, and trauma-informed art groups, our work has always centered around empowering individuals, strengthening families, and building community.
In 2020, we became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Today, we continue that mission through healing art workshops, parent support services, education advocacy, and our drug-free youth coalition. What started as a few parents seeking connection has grown into a vibrant network where families are supported and our community thrives.
Safety - We intentionally create a respectful space free from judgment and harm.
Creativity - We believe in the right to expression and the freedom to innovate.
Inclusion - We honor the diversity and complexity of identities, perspectives, circumstances and experiences.
Collaboration - We recognize that working collectivity deepens our knowledge and fosters community growth.
Empowerment - We build a framework supportive of personal growth, community engagement and service.
Animal Welfare - We prioritize the well-being and humane treatment of animals in all our endeavors.
Resource Stewardship - We use resources wisely, mindful of their impact on the environment and future generations.
